Dancing, dining and great music with a great bunch of folk!
The Elvis Fan Club meeting will be at St. James Shelton Hall Tuesday night March 13th.Doors open at 5:30 PM. For those of you who may have missed the last two meetings, beginning this meeting, we are going to try having our food catered, hoping it will be much less work and better for each of us.However. we need to know how many will be coming so please RSVP to this email or call me at 841 6847. As you know we have run short on food our last two meetings and we hope this will help us be better prepared. Everyone will pay $10.00. We will have an entree, two sides,bread dessert and beverage. The Club will furnish paper goods, cups, forks, spoons,beverage, & etc.
We will have Gary Abbott from Jackson,Tennessee to entertain us.He sounds pretty good to me on you tube and has very positive feed back from several people.Hope everyone can come and enjoy food fellowship and music.
Membership renewals were due Jan.8,,2018 for those who may have missed last two meetings.
We will have drawing for 8 (Dancing With The King) tickets.
April 6 will be exciting, with the Sock Hop, music by Legends of Blues, Sat. morning 7th will be our scholarship semi finals & winners, and That night, more
dancing with the king, with our own Connie Tullos dancing and Jack Curtis doing music.We need volunteers and I promise you it is lots of fun.
We are still helping the Episcopal Church with their Homeless Ministry. This is voluntary and just a reminder. They feed breakfast to between 75 & 100 each week.Needed items are : non-perishables, such as cereal, coffee, creamer, sugar, fruit juice, and canned fruit.
